As it turns out, these two classic Mustang Cobras, spotted in Spanish Fork, Utah, have husband and wife owners. At least for now. His 1977 Ford Mustang is for sale in hopes of garnering the couple a down payment for a house while her 1976 Ford Mustang is staying in the family.
The 1977 Mustang Cobra for sale has a 302 cubic inch 5.0 liter motor pushing 300 hp and a C4 automatic transmission. A project car for several years, it has a new engine, trans, paint, rims and brand new tires with an asking price of $6,200 O.B.O.

The 2013 Chevy Camaro ZL1 convertible. It's what Gus Paulos Chevrolet in West Valley City is using as a unique way to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer.
As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. (How could you not...everything in the western world has been trimmed in pink lately and we are super happy about that!)
The folks over at Gus Paulos are looking for some Camaro enthusiasts to bid on this baby. The 2013 Camaro SS Super Car will go to the highest bidder over cost with 100 percent of the profit/proceeds going to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer effort.
This nearly impossible to get Camaro in all of its 580 HP glory can be seen on the showroom floor at 4050 W 3500 S in West Valley City, Utah. But you better hurry! They are taking bids until Oct. 12th and the lucky bidder will take delivery on October 13th.

Sunday is National Plug In Day! Sixty cities all over the country will be holding events to celebrate and provide free test drives of electric cars.
Here in Utah the Salt Lake City event will be a music festival with a wide variety of electric vehicles on site. It will be a great time to learn more about these vehicles.
There are at least a dozen EVs on the market right now for lease or purchase including pure electrics, extended-range electrics and hybrids. They include the Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Mitsubishi iMiEV, Plug-in Prius, Ford Focus EV, Honda Fit EV, Fisker Karma and the BMW ActiveE Coda.
The Plugged-In Music Festival and EV Drive planned for the Gallivan Center from noon until 6p.m. on Sunday, September 23rd will feature many of them.
A possible star of the show could be the new full size "Volt style" electric pick-up truck and SUV that averages over 100 MPG by VIA Motors, a Utah based EV manufacturer. This Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (E-REV) enables larger 4WD vehicles, including SUVs and light trucks, to drive the first 40 miles in all-electric mode with near zero emissions, and a full range of 400 miles on a single fill-up. For most drivers, this means a full range of over 100 MPG in typical local daily driving. The VIA Motors E-REV powertrain can be applied to a large variety of light trucks, SUVs and delivery vehicles, making it ideal for fleet vehicles. This E-REV powertrain was designed to work in popular light trucks such as the GM Silverado, the Ford F-Series and the Dodge Ram series of trucks.

Football is back! And to celebrate, we want to share this awesome video of football trick shots from the guys over at Dude Perfect. This newest set of complex trick shots makes use of the very capable 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe and some very talented stunt drivers. You know, one of those "don't try this at home" type situations. Check out the drifting on a football field!
You can see football-style skeet shooting and moving target long shots that are absolutely amazing. Watch Tyler Toney pass the football and hit a target even as the Hyundai Sante Fe has it moving at speeds up to 40 MPH. There is even a giant panda bear doing some Tebowing near the end.
There's certainly not a shortage of videos on YouTube of people doing dumb things. Security cameras catch people in what proves to be less than their finest hour. Both of these videos came to our attention this morning and prove that keeping your wits about you is a necessity while filling your tank at the gas station.
This women forgets one small detail and ends up almost taking the entire gas pump with her! A calm attendant comes to her aid and reminds her to turn off her vehicle.
And this guy commits the cardinal sin at the pump when he decides to look into his gas tank by lighting a match! Would you call him a candidate for the "Darwin Award"?

Land Rover has taken the wraps off its completely redesigned 2013 Range Rover SUV. An all-aluminum unibody as well as front and rear chassis structure brings the new Range Rover in at a much lighter weight. A full 700 lbs lighter on the U.S.-spec V-8 Range Rover. That will translate into better gas mileage and more agile handling for the sport utility vehicle.
Key features include:
• Enhanced all-terrain performance with the introduction of a new fully automatic Land Rover "Terrain Response 2 Auto®" system
• A more spacious and luxurious interior provides a truly composed motoring experience for all occupants. Rear legroom increases 4.7 inches
• Lighter, stronger and more refined. The world's first SUV with an all-aluminum unibody structure
John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director, said: "The new Range Rover preserves the essential, unique character of the vehicle – that special blend of luxury, performance and unmatched all-terrain capability. However, its clean sheet design and revolutionary lightweight construction have enabled us to transform the experience for luxury vehicle customers, with a step change in comfort, refinement and handling."
Some say the new design looks a little too much like the Ford Flex. What do you think?
The 2013 Land Rover Range Rover should begin arriving at dealerships in North America by December 2012.
In a very creative branding move by Olympic sponsor BMW, a small fleet of radio controlled MINI Coopers have been retrieving javelins, hammer, discus and shot during the London 2012 Olympics. The "mini MINIs", as they are being called, will also put in time at the Paralympic games.
From the BMW press release:
This specially developed and designed radio controlled electric car will be used on the field of play in the Olympic Stadium to ferry javelins, discuses, hammers and shots back from the field to the throwing area, saving valuable time during competition. Three Mini MINIs will be deployed for this crucial task and will be operated by Games Makers assigned and trained for this duty. The cars are roughly a quarter scale of the full-sized car and carry the athletic equipment situated inside, accessible through the adapted sunroof.
The battery powered cars can run for 35 minutes before needing to be recharged and they even have working headlights!
Here are a couple of videos showing the cars in action:

“The 2013 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is by far one of the best performing Mustangs to come out of our shop” states Gary Jurick, General Manager for ROUSH Performance. “The idea is not to have the highest horse power out there, but to embody all around performance and combine that with an exclusive vehicle at a great value.”

Here is the press release announcing the 2013 Roush Mustangs:
The New 2013 ROUSH Mustangs
Out With The Old And In With The New
PLYMOUTH, Mich. (April 4, 2012) – Just as the weather changes for the better moving into spring, so does the ROUSH Stage Mustangs as they move into the 2013 model year. The newly designed 2013 ROUSH Mustangs add more grunt and aggressive looks to an already impressive redesigned Ford Mustang.
The Stage 3 Mustang is the pinnacle of the ROUSH "Stage" Mustangs. Improving upon the styling of the Stage 1 and the handling of the Stage 2, our Stage 3 Mustang adds its own piece of the pie by supercharging the 5.0L-4v Coyote powertrain. It is the perfect infusion of styling, handling and power. The Stage 3 embodies everything a muscle car can and should be.
At the heart of the Stage 3 is a newly updated ROUSH supercharged 5.0L-4v powertrain, pumping out a massive 565 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque – more than enough power to make you one with your seat as you stab the throttle. With power numbers like these, the 2013 Stage 3 marks ROUSH Performance's highest horsepower street legal Mustang to date. Force feeding air to the 5.0L engine is ROUSH's R2300 supercharger featuring Eaton's® TVS (Twin Vortices Series) patented technology. The TVS design delivers greatly enhanced thermal efficiency, produces higher volumetric capacity, and enables higher supercharger RPM's; all of which equate to more power and better fuel efficiency in a smaller, lighter package. ROUSH powertrain engineers calibrated the new Stage 3 to the perfect combination of power, drivability and durability.
But what is power if you can't put it down on the street/track? The Stage 2 and Stage 3 packages provide greatly improved handling over stock mustangs, allowing our cars to pull over 1g of lateral acceleration on the skid pad. Part of this handling package is the 18-inch by 10-inch cast aluminum, five spoke, chrome ROUSH wheels – wrapped in the ROUSH/Cooper (co-developed) RS3 ultra high-performance tire. The suspension system consists of a larger, stiffer front stabilizer bar to reduce body roll and provide balanced, neutral handling. It also includes a unique ROUSH designed anti-wheel hop kit, twin-tube shocks with unique valving, increased rate springs as well as upgraded bushings and jounce bumpers. ROUSH chassis engineers spent thousands of hours in development and testing to create the perfect set up to aid in acceleration, cornering, stopping and ride quality
To give the 2013 ROUSH Mustangs a more aggressive look, all of the new Stages 1 through 3 platforms receive the newly designed 6th generation ROUSH Aerobody package. Dubbed the "R6″, the new aero-body package incorporates a remodeled ROUSH upper grille, high-flow lower grille, corner fascia aero-pockets with driving lamps and front chin splitter. It also includes a new ROUSH hood scoop, rocker panel and rear fascia side splitters, a three-piece rear decklid spoiler, new ROUSH rear aero-valance featuring race-inspired diffusers, and is finished off with newly designed, integrated dual chambered, chrome exhaust tips.
"The 2013 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is by far one of the best performing Mustangs to come out of our shop" states Gary Jurick, General Manager for ROUSH Performance. "The idea is not to have the highest horse power out there, but to embody all around performance and combine that with an exclusive vehicle at a great value."
The Stage 3 also gets an RS3 graphics package available in multiple color combinations to allow owners to personalize to their taste. Inside the Stage 3 you get a custom gauge cluster, ROUSH embroidered floor mats, a ROUSH center console button and a Stage 3 dash medallion. All Stage Mustangs receive ROUSH badging throughout and a serialized engine bay plaque.
To further customize your ROUSH Stage Mustang there are several exterior, interior and chassis options available including rear quarter window louvers and the all new Stage 3 Interior Package consisting of Stage 3 embroidered leather seating with suede inserts, suede door panels and a suede shift boot all with highlight stitching. There is also a vent gauge pod with LED boost gauge, a suede wrapped steering wheel, and a convertible light bar just to name a few. Some chassis options include three 20-inch wheels choices, four different brake packages, ROUSH laser cut hood struts and red or black ROUSH engine coil covers. Additionally, the ROUSH dual chamber off-road exhaust system to put a grin on your face and let everyone else know you're not to be messed with.
All 2013 ROUSH "Stage" Mustangs are available in both coupe and convertible chassis and both manual and automatic transmissions. They are also all 50-state legal and covered by ROUSH's 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. The 2013 ROUSH Mustangs are expected to start showing up on dealer lots by late April 2012.
