2015 Christmas Lights On Display in Utah



With the temperatures dropping, tis the season to see gorgeous Christmas light displays from the comfort and warmth of the car. There are tons of cool lights all over Utah - here are some of our favorites... (Ok, some you can’t see from the car, so be sure to bundle up!)

KSL also has a Utah Holiday Lights Map where anyone can submit a location. This is a great way to see some great light displays for free without having to drive very far!



FREE Light Displays:

Temple Square, lights on until New Year’s Eve, free concerts in the Assembly Hall and North Visitor Center every evening until late December.  

Gardner Village – Enjoy the lights and don’t forget to print off an Elf Scavenger Hunt before you go! 

Valley Fair Mall, 3 different songs are synced to the Christmas light show, show run from 5:30 – 9:00  

The Gateway Mall, lights are synchronized with music and the Olympic Legacy Fountain, shows begin on the hour, every hour from 5 to 8 pm, through January 1   

Frosty’s Winter Wonderland, 805 E. 18th Avenue, SLC, 6-11 pm {pictured above!}  

Christmas Street in Taylorsville, lots of elaborate lights and each house also has a part of The Night Before Christmas printed in their yard.  

City Creek, enjoy beautiful lights while shopping, get a text when it’s your turn to see Santa so you don’t have to wait in line!  



The Shops at the Riverwoods - Enjoy the gorgeous light displays and treat the kids to Christmas S’mores for $1! 4801 N. University Ave., Provo, UT {pictured above} 

Christmas Street in Sugarhouse, every house in the cul-de-sac is decorated with lights and decorations

Bible Street, Blaine Ave and Wilson Ave, SLC, each house displays scripture verses from Luke 2, telling the story of the nativity 

Provo Winterfest, there are tons of lights in downtown Provo each night, tons of activities on New Year’s Eve too. 

Salem Pond, lit Christmas trees in the water, 6-10 pm each night until January 2   

Christmas Village, downtown Ogden, Christmas lights and cottages designed to look like Santa’s village at the North Pole, can also see Santa at his castle each evening  

Winder Farms Christmas Lane, after viewing all of the homes that are lit up, you can stop at the Winder Farms store at the end of the lane to buy egg nog, hot chocolate and scones, Santa is there on Thursdays from 6-8.  



Low Cost Light Displays:

Hogle Zoo – See the Zoo Lights from 5:30-8 or 9pm daily. $7 adults, $5 kids, 2 and under are free 

Heritage Park - Candlelight Christmas, 6-9pm, $10 for adults, $5 for kids, 2 and under are free {Tell them Utah Deal Diva sent you for $2 off}   

Thanksgiving Point, 6-10pm daily, $8 per car  

Spanish Fork Festival of Lights, 6-10pm daily, $7 per car  

Fantasy at the Bay, Willard Bay State Park- 5:30-10:30pm daily, $10 per car
