This is going to be such an amazing sight. Tomorrow, September 14 over 100 hot rods will begin a history making tour, driving over 2500 miles from the Bonneville Salt Flats to Indianapolis for the Goodguys 2nd WIX Filters Speedway Nationals.
Andy "The RodFather" Brizio and Gary Meadors, founder of the GoodGuys organization are just two of the famous hot rodders that will be making the journey. For Andy Brizio, this will be the last time he will be driving his hot rod across country so you will not want to miss it!
The RodFather GoodGuys Road Tour 2012 will go through 15 states:
California
Nevada
Utah
Wyoming
Colorado
Nebraska
Iowa
Wisconsin
Illinois
Indiana
Missouri
Oklahoma
Texas
New Mexico
Arizona
...stopping at over 25 destinations.
The first stop will be at Kindig-It Design, one of North America's premier Hot Rod and Custom shops, right here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kindig-It Design has been building incredible vehicles for over 13 years, pulling down accolades like winning America's Most Beautiful Street Rod, 2011 and building the 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible for Olympic Speed Skating champion, Apolo Anton Ohno. This beautiful caddy is a must see and is still on display at the Kindig-It Design showroom.The open house for these pre-1949 street and hot rodders will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 14th and last for 2-3 hours. Kindig-It Design's 27,000 square foot facility is located at 164 East Hill (4050 South), Salt Lake City, Utah 84107.
